There are multiple events taking place at Redwood Rare Breeds throughout the year from forset schools to birthday parties, to lambing and chick hatching. Many seasonal farming events are demonstrated too such as hay making and chainhollowing at different times of the year.

We are incredibly lucky to be able to provide a function area for multiple forest schools and outdoor educational spaces for local schools and colleges. In addition, some of our buildings are used for rural classrooms and collage workshop enable students to perform a variety of activities including art class, woodworking to gaining photography skills.

Forset Schools

Babies and Toddlers: Wednesdays 9:15-10:15pm term time

2-5 years old: Wednesday 10:45 – 12:15 term time

Located on top of our hill, Field 725 operates a venue for private and public hire with a focus on low-impact and nature-based events and activities. It’s well suited for private celebrations, weddings, retreats, summer camps, education events, bushcraft schools and much more. Visit the hire page to have a look. There are very limited dates for 2023 and are now taking bookings for 2024 onwards.
